I'm Jessie, and I help curious Melburnians see what they've been missing—Saturn's rings, Jupiter's moons, distant galaxies—all through a real telescope, all explained in plain English, under the Yarra Valley's dark skies.

Whether you're joining a public session with fellow sky-gazers, booking something private for your crew, or gifting an experience someone will remember forever—this is the moment that breaks up the usual weekend routine.

I handle the equipment, the weather watching, and the sky knowledge. All you need to bring is your curiosity (and some warm clothes).

Expect to spend around 90 minutes with us under the stars! Your experience will include a laser-guided introduction to the night sky, captivating stories about the universe, and breathtaking views through our state-of-the-art telescope.

Our events start about an hour after sunset, so the time changes as the year goes on. You'll find the precise start time for your tour date on the booking page, in your confirmation email, and in a reminder email we send at 1PM on the day of your tour.

We all know how unpredictable Melbourne weather can be. We'd love to promise perfect skies, but sadly we can’t control the clouds! You'll receive a tour confirmation by 1PM on the day of your event. If we need to cancel due to significant cloud cover or rain, we'll notify you then. You can then choose to reschedule or grab a gift voucher – because clear skies are worth waiting for!

Yes, our stargazing events are family-friendly! Children are welcome, but must be under the direct supervision of an adult at all times. You can purchase children's tickets on the booking page.

Contact us via the enquiry form below to start planning your memorable evening - whether it's a romantic anniversary, a birthday, a corporate gathering, or any other special occasion, our customised stargazing experiences are a unique and enriching alternative to typical gifts or entertainment. In your message, please include number of guests, preferred date and location.

Your comfort is a priority, so we recommend bringing a warm jacket (even in summer!), and closed-in shoes are a must. In winter, serious cold weather clothing is required. Bring your sense of wonder and perhaps a blanket for extra coziness while you gaze at the stars.
